Although the Bourjois Colorband 2-in-1 Eyeshadow & Liners launched in January, I’ve only just been able to get my hands on them. But I think they were worth the wait. If you’re not already aware of these, they are new eyeshadow crayons from Bourjois that are available in six very wearable shade:
- 01 Noir Abstrait – dense, graphic black
- 02 Brun Dadaiate – bronze
- 03 Beige Minimaliste – nude
- 04 Rose Fauviste – soft pink nude
- 05 Mauve Baroque – browny lavender
- 06 Gris Graffiti – soft dark grey
I have three – 03 Beige Minimaliste which is more of a champagne gold colour than beige, 05 Maucve Baroque which is a lovely metallic mauve colour and 06 Gris Graffiti which is a soft metallic grey shade.
The pencils themselves are really soft with creamy texture that blends very easily. You can use these all over the lid as a block colour, a contour, along the lashline, or all of the above. They really are so easy to use and the texture just glides on so easily. 03 and 05 are great everyday shades, whereas 06 would make a great smudged smokey eye look.
According to Bourjois, theses crayons will last for an impressive 24 hours on your lids. I haven’t quite put that to the test yet, but they did last remarkably well during a 14 hour day last week. Not only are these long lasting, but they also offer incredible pigmentation and are also waterproof. All in all, I’m in love with the three I’ve picked up and will probably be back in the Boots later this week to pick up the other three.
The Bourjois Colorband 2-in-1 Eyeshadow & Linerare £5.99 each at Boots.
