Now I don’t know about you, but I’m always a little skeptical when it comes to spending top dollar on designer makeup. Mainly because I think we all know that they’re produced in the same factories as their lower-end counterparts. But having said that. This Chanel bronzer has been on my wishlist forever now. So when John Lewis had 15% off a couple of weeks ago. I couldn’t resist. So now I have it. Is the Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Bronzing Cream worth the splurge?
Now, most people will know this product by the old name. Chanel Soleil Tan de Chanel Bronzer. And there’s a reason this product has reached cult status. If you’re looking for a bronzer that is lightweight and easy to blend to give your skin a natural sun-kissed glow. Then this is the bronzer for you.
Unlike other bronzers, I’ve tried. This one is delicate to touch with a velvety finish. And it’s also not too orange – thank god! It just glides onto the skin for a soft-focus flattering finish. It’s matte but in a velvety way. It didn’t break up my makeup underneath and just smoothed over my skin, enhancing my complexion. It just melts effortlessly into the skin and blends seamlessly to give you a very natural sun-kissed glow. Which is what we all want from a bronzer, right?
But is the Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Bronzing Cream worth the £42 price tag? Well, it’s definitely not cheap. But then this is Chanel. Personally, I’d repurchase this. but given the size and amount used each time, I have a feeling that this could last me quite a while. This means on a cost per use basis, this could be paying for itself soon. But that’s just the way I justify my excessive purchases!
