It seems my obsession with nude eyeshadow palettes really isn’t slowing down. But who can blame me when I spotted this gorgeous but affordable palette from Collection. The Collection Eyes Uncovered Nude Grey Palette, and the other two versions, Nude and Bronze, have created quite a buzz in the bloggersphere but who can blame them.
These palettes are incredibly similar to the much hyped about Naked basic palettes but I don’t think they compare in terms of quality. Urban Decay eyeshadows have an exceptional formula that create highly pigmented shadows that just can’t be replicated with the cheaper options. But that’s not to say that these Collection palettes aren’t worth trying, because they are.
As I’ve mentioned the palettes come in three colour versions, Nude, Nude Grey and Nude Bronze. I only have Nude Grey but it’s lovely. Formula wise it’s soft, blends well and has a good colour payoff on the lid. I find this palette is perfect for everyday use as it’s compact and the choice of shades can take you from day to night.
Below I’ve used three of the shades, the lighter bronze for the base, the shimmery silver for the inner corners and the dark brown shimmer for the out corners of the eye.
The Collection Eyes Uncovered Nude Grey Palette is available from Boots for £3.99.
What do you think of this palette? Have you tried any of the Collection Eyes Uncovered palettes before?
