Concealing the blues with Urban Decay

Urban Decay

Happy Wednesday everyone! Now I don’t know about everyone else, but whether you’re fighting blemishes or covering dark circles. Concealers really are a true beauty hero when it comes to hiding all manner of skin imperfections. Especially when it comes to my dark circles. But recently I’ve started to move away from concealers and focus on correctors to hide my tiredness.

Now if you’re new to the whole world or correctors, then where have you been? They’ve definitely been having a bit of a ‘moment’ in the beauty world of late. With almost every brand launching their own range of products and palettes to balance out any skin dis-colouration. And some of my favourite ones to use are the Urban Decay Naked Skin Colour Correcting Fluids.

Urban Decay actually have five colours in their collection with each one tackling a different skin concern:

For me I love to use the green and pink ones. And as this is based on their Naked Skin Concealer formula, it’s incredibly lightweight and easy to blend. No matter how much you need to apply! Plus the subtle pearlescent pigments in the formula work to diffuse light for perfect looking skin. While the antioxidant-rich vitamin C and vitamin E work to condition and protect your skin. And I have to admit, since using these, I’ve found that I’m relying less and less on concealer after I’ve applied my foundation. Unless of course I’m looking exceptionally tired! In fact it’s completely changed the way I look at concealer. I spent years either wearing concealer that was too thick, so highlighting my issues. Or too thin, making me wonder why I’d bothered applying it at all. I finally feel like I’ve cracked the secret to flawless looking concealer.

The Urban Decay Naked Skin Colour Correcting Fluids cost £19 each and are available from John Lewis.
