Creating the waviest of waves with the Lee Stafford Coco Loco Wonderball Wand

Those of you who know me. Or stalk me on Instagram. Will know that I very rarely wear my hair straight. I just don’t think I suit poker straight hair. I like hair that is messy, with texture and volume. Basically, the ‘I just got out of bed but I’m still rocking it’ type of look. And seeing as my hair has a natural wave to it. It’s fair to say it looks a lot better curly, then it does straight. Which is why I’ve tried a lot of different curling irons and tongs over the years. But I’ve yet to try a wand that looked like this before. Until now that is. And now I’m hooked!

The Lee Stafford Coco Loco Wonderball Wand is infused with coconut oil, a natural nutrient, that provides the essential proteins required for nourishing and repairing damaged hair. Which is what my hair needs at the moment. Using too much heat definitely dries my hair out and makes the ends look a little frazzled – which is not a great look! But this wand doesn’t do that. And what’s more, as the wand heats up to 200°C, I find my curls stay in place for longer.

Now while this may not look like many of your other curling wands. Don’t let the unique shape put you off. The 25mm barrel allows you to create different types of waves. You can create beachy waves by wrapping your hair over the barrel. Or for a wilder look, you can wrap your hair in between the barrel for tighter curls. Or you can do what I do, and go for a mixture, which results in a pretty wild curl look.

But I love it. I love that you can change up your look when you want. And I love how nourishing the wand is for my hair. Not to mention that once curled, the curls stay in my hair for a good two to three days after – which is seriously impressively! And perfect for me, as I try not to wash my hair too often.

The Lee Stafford Coco Loco Wonderball Wand, is currently on offer at Superdrug for just £19.99, instead of £29.99.
