Five to try from Lola Makeup

Five to try from Lola Makeup

One of my new favourite makeup discoveries last year was Lola. An amazing British brand created by professional make-up artists, for makeup enthusiasts. With a wide range of textures, colours and professional tools, they’re similar in look and feel to some of your favourite brands out there. Brands like MAC and NARS. But LOLA’s aim is to help us all become our own expert make-up artist. And I have to say they have some of the most amazing products out at the moment. So if you’re not sure what to try first from this brand, here’s five to try from Lola Makeup:

Highlighter £12

Now who doesn’t love a highlight? I know I do! Even though I bought an obscene amount of highlights last year, there’s always room for more right? This super creamy powder illuminates the cheeks perfectly giving you a gorgeous healthy-looking glow. This is the lighter of the two shades they do and it’s gorgeous!

Intense Colour lipstick £12

Next up is this gorgeous Intense Colour lipstick in Silky Red. Now I usually struggle with reds, but this one might be the one for me! It’s incredibly pigmented so glossy on the lips. Plus the super creamy formula is enriched with antioxidants and nourishing plant extracts, which work to plump, smooth and condition your lips. Plus the colour is just beautiful!

Perfect Skin Illuminating Base £17

This is probably my favourite product. As someone with oil skin, a primer is a must for me. And I love the oil-free and super lightweight texture of this one. Not only does it keep your makeup in place throughout the day but it also gives your complexion a subtle radiance and natural glow.

Picture Perfect Foundation £19

I’m not a fan of heavy foundation, which is why this one is perfect for me. It literally feels like a second skin it’s that comfortable to wear. But there’s enough coverage to correct my imperfections while keeping your complexion looking fresh and natural.

Highlighting Concealer Pen £17

I’m sure most of you are aware of my issues with my dark circles. So a good concealer is a must for me! Not only does it reduce the appearance of dark circles but as it’s a highlighting concealer, it also illuminates your under eye area while reducing any signs of tiredness.

What do you think of these products? Have you tried anything from Lola before?
