It’s around this time of year that I end up changing my perfumes. Maybe it’s part of the whole New Year New Me thing or maybe it’s because fragrances really remind me of certain times in my life. I can still remember the perfume I wore to my 21st birthday celebration, to my graduation and the one I wore on my best friend’s wedding day. Seeing as last year didn’t end that well for me I’m keen to start wearing a new scent to mark the change in my life. And I’ve found the perfect new fragrance in the gorgeous Giorgio Armani Si Eau De Parfum.
This is a gorgeous scent that is sophisticated enough to wear in the evenings, but also relaxed enough to wear in the daytime. It’s a chic, grown up fragrance that I feel like will become an instant classic in your perfume collection. With a combination of Sicilian Bergamot, mandarin oil and liquer de cassis, this silky, smooth scent lingers on the skin all day. And with hints of Rose de Mai absolute, Neroli absolute and Egyptian Jasmine absolute, this is a lovely and fresh scent with a hint of sweet florals. There are accents of patchouli oil intertwined with hints of amber, musk and vanille absolute which add the sweetness but not in a sickly sweet kind of way.
In fact this feels like an incredibly grown up, luxe vanilla fragrance that is rich, warming with a comforting sweetness to it. Everyone I know who has tried this fragrance loves it. And whenever I’m wearing it I get compliments on the scent.
