Now I don’t know about you. But while I love the summer and the summer makeup collections that have launched. A part of me is also ready for Autumn. Now that could be because it’s my favourite season of the year. Or it could be because the weather is feeling more autumnal than summery at the moment. Whatever the reason is, it’s making me fall even more in love with the new Illamasqua collection. Which for me, is going to be perfect for Autumn!
And if you love the whole metallic trend, then I think you might fall in love with this collection as well. With three eyeshadows, three lipsticks and two glitter eye gels. This collection certainly has everything you need for a dazzling Autumn look. But you’re going to need to be patient. This collection doesn’t launch until the 17th August. So set your calendars now, as I’m sure this will be a sell out!
Metallic Eyeshadows £17 each
Now those who know me, know I’m a sucker for a metallic eyeshadow. In fact, I feel like the only kind of eyeshadow I wear, is one with shimmer in. Which is why these three are perfect for me! Not only that, but the formula is pretty impressive too. Like other Illmasqua eyeshadows I’ve tried, these have a buttery, creamy texture that makes them perfect for blending. Plus the intense pigmentation ensures the colour you see in the pan, is the colour you get on your lids. Hoard is the golden colour. Enchantment is the silvery shimmer. And Superstitious is the beautiful bronze colour.
Lava Lipsticks £20
Can I just start by saying, I’m not sure you can find a prettier or funkier looking lipstick around. These are almost too pretty to use. Almost. These rich shades are ideal for Autumn. And the marbled effect ensures you find your own unique shade with every application. Rebirth is the dark red tone. Tectonic is the gorgeous deep pink colour. And Emanate is the earthy colour. All three are incredibly creamy to apply on the lips. And the two tone formula means you get a unique application each time.
Broken Eye Gel £19
And last, but by no means least. Is this lovely eye gel in gold. Now you can also pick this up in silver, but I have to say, I love the gold tone. Now although this is an eye gel, the cracked foil formula means it would also work well lightly dotted around the cheek bones, cupids bow and inner eye to gently catch the light. For a unique illuminating finish.
What do you think of this collection? Will you be picking up any of the range when it launches on 17th August?
