Now that I’m back in the swing of daily blogging, I wanted to take the opportunity to re-introduce myself to those who are new readers, old readers or just interested in finding out more about me. Because we’re all a bit nosy aren’t we?
So where do I start? Well, I’m Steph, I’m 32 and I’m in a pretty content happy place right now. I started this blog six years ago as a creative place to share my love of beauty and photography. And it’s grown and evolved since then. I’d now say it’s way more of a lifestyle space. But generally it’s just a place for anyone to come and find content on style, beauty or the general life hurdles of being an adult.
And the most adult thing I’ve done so far is buying my first home. I mean does it get any more adult than that? I’ve spent a fair bit of time decorating and making it my own, but I’m so pleased with how it’s turned out. With pink walls, a navy velvet sofa and a dressing room – it’s my dream place right now!
Work wise I work in Digital Marketing. A job that I genuinely wouldn’t be in without my blog. The skills I’ve learnt and taught myself through this little space on the internet has led me to a dream job and career. In an industry I never planned on working in. But one that I really do love.
And relationship wise? Well there isn’t much to report other than I’m happily single. It’s taken me a long time to get to this place but I’m honestly the happiest and most content I’ve been in a long time. Life is good but it didn’t happen by accident. It’s taken a lot of work and soul searching but it’s worth it.
