Now I don’t know about you. But when it comes to luxury items. For me, the holy grail has always been Chanel. I know for some people it might be Hermes and don’t get me wrong. While I’d love a Birkin or a Kelly, a Chanel just always seemed slightly more attainable. Although still a long way off considering the constant price increases. But that’s where pre-loved comes into play. The same bag, but for less money. So let me introduce you to my very first Chanel.
This is the Chanel mini flap bag in the rectangular size in the chevon lambskin style with gold hardware. And I’m in love. I know for my first Chanel that I wanted a classic flap style. And for me, I knew I wanted a smaller bag that I could wear across the body. While I love the medium and jumbo size of the classic flap, I just knew the smaller size would be more practical for me.
And it is. I love how easy it is to wear. And how well it fits across the body. The chain isn’t too long or too short. It’s absolutely perfect. I also love how much you can fit into the bag itself. I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to fit in as much as I needed to. And that I would end up stretching the bag. But I can easily fit my phone, my coin purse (which also holds my cards), and my keys with no issue.
So while this bag wasn’t cheap. When is Chanel ever cheap? I’m so pleased I picked it up pre-loved. The lambskin leather Is still buttery soft, there are hardly any marks or scratches on the bag and I know I’ll keep this bag forever.
So that’s my first Chanel. Let me know what you think of the bag in the comments. Have you ever splurged on a Chanel bag?
