New skincare additions from Rodial

Rodial

When it comes to skincare, I’m all for trying new products that can help to boost my complexion and make my skin look and feel better than it does. And two of my newest skincare additions come in the form of Rodial’s Snake Serum and the Bee Venom Cleansing Balm. Now I have to admit, I was incredibly lucky to receive these in my Harvey Nichols Beauty Hamper (which you can see here). And since they arrived back in November, I’ve been using them non-stop. I’m a big fan of Rodial makeup, so I had high hopes for their skincare range. And it didn’t disappoint.

Rodial Snake Serum 02 £130

Now I appreciate that this is an expensive serum. I mean this is a really expensive serum. But having been to a talk hosted by skincare Guru Caroline Hirons I kind of agree with her philosophy. “If you would spend more on shoes, handbags, lipstick, jeans or fashion in general than you would on high quality skincare – you will be a sixty year old woman with a vintage wardrobe and a face like an alligator.” And seeing as I do spend a lot of money on bags, I probably should start to invest in my skincare. And having tried this I’ll definitely be repurchasing. This is honestly working wonders in boosting my complexion and just making my skin, look and feel better and firmer.

Rodial Bee Venom Cleaning Balm £50

A cleansing balm is an absolutely staple in my skincare routine and this one is just amazing. As would expect from Rodial and also for the price. It’s certainly not cheap but oh my it’s worth it. With Bee Venom – known for it’s plumping abilities, it also has a mix of salicylic acid and vitamin c. Both of which are known for their anti-ageing properties. All you need is a pump of the product, mix with water for a milk consistency before applying it your face. And then rinse. I’ve been using this in the evenings as part of my second cleanse and I have to say, it does feel like a luxury product. It smells beautiful and leaves my skin just feeling so soft. You can pick up the Rodial Bee Venom Cleansing Balm from Harvey Nichols.
