Now I don’t know about you, but I can’t help myself when it comes to homewares. Ever since getting my own place I’ve been interiors obsessed. And while the majority of the place is done. Apart from wanting to add some amazing Rooflights from TuffX Glass in. Mainly because I can’t get enough of natural daylight and feel that these would be the perfect addition to the living room. I mean just think of the drama and light that they would create! But until then, I can’t help but add new homeware pieces every now and then. And I’ve picked up a few new things for the living room that I want to share with you all.
First up are some of the pieces I picked up at TK Maxx at the Galleria Outlet Centre. Now I’ve not been to the Galleria since they did their homeware event back in April last year. But I do love a browse around TK Maxx and the Galleria has a great one. First up are a couple of glass vases. A bigger navy blue one which I’ve added on top of some books on my ladder shelves. And a smaller blue one which includes some faux flowers – also from TK Maxx – on my coffee table. I’m a sucker for cute trinkets and these vases fit my living room decor perfectly. I’m also a sucker for faux flowers and couldn’t resist these cute white flowers.
Next up is a candle. Because who can head to TK Maxx and not pick up a candle? The scent is ocean mist and it just smells so fresh and clean in the living room. I love a strong fragrance and this one definitely fills the whole room, even when it’s not lit. Which I love. And the final piece I picked up from TK Maxx is this beautiful gold frame. I’m still looking for the right print of picture to fill it. But I love the detailing around the edges. And the fact the gold matches quite a few of the other brass details in the living room.
And finally I picked up this Jam Jar Wireless Speaker from Prezzybox. I’ve been after a stylish speaker for a while now. I listen to a lot of music in the house. I much prefer to listen to Spotify than to have the TV on. But the speaker on my Alexa Dot wasn’t great. Which is why I wanted a proper speaker. But one that would fit into my decor. And this Jam Jar one is perfect. It has a bluetooth connection which means you can play music wireless, and you can also answer calls through the speaker. Plus battery life is 6 hours. Which means I can play all the music I want before plugging the USB in and recharging the speaker.
