Simple Micellar Water

Simple Micellar Water

When it comes to cleansing my skin and removing my makeup, I always turn to a micellar water. It makes me wonder how I managed to survive without one for years. As before I got into beauty blogging and looking after my skin I used to rely on face wipes. I know. I’m a bad beauty blogger.

Now when it comes to micellar waters, I’ve tried most of them. And to be honest, they are all pretty similar. The cult product is Bioderma, but as it’s not that easy to get hold off in the UK, I tend to prefer the ones you can pick up in Boots – the L’Oreal, Garnier or Nivea ones. But when my last bottle run out I thought I’d try something new and picked up the newly released Simple Micellar Water.

Like most of the micellar waters on the market, this one is incredibly kind to your skin. As you would expect Simple products to be. It removes my makeup and cleanses my skin all in the sweep of a cotton pad. It leaves my skin feeling soft, supple and refreshed, either for the day ahead or for a good nights sleep. And it even removes the toughest of mascaras and gel liners.

I find most of the micellar waters out there are so similar. Some come in bigger bottles, some come in smaller bottles and some don’t last as long as others. But I wouldn’t say I have a particular favourite. It just depends on what’s on offer and what brand I’m feeling loyal to when I need to pick up the next bottle. But aren’t most people like that?

The Simple Micellar Water is available from Boots for £4.49.
