The festival essentials you need in your backpack this summer

Festival Essentials

Glastonbury may have been and gone, but there are still so many festivals to come. And over the years I’ve done quite a few. From V Festival and Lovebox to Wireless and Latitude.  There’s just something about being in a field watching your favourite band or DJ perform. And while planning which stages to fight your way to the front to. It’s also important to know what essentials you’ll need to survive the weekend. Which is why I thought I’d share my years of experience will you all but give you the festival essentials you need in your backpack this summer.

Lottie Viva La V Festival Face Gems £2.99

Now is it even a festival if you don’t cover your face in glitter or gems? I think not! Which is why these gems from Lottie London are the perfect festival essential. Not only are they easy to apply, but the design is perfect for adding a touch of glitter to your face, without looking like a unicorn just threw up on you. You can pick them up here.

Lottie Shadow Swatch The Rainbows £9.95

Sticking with the glitter and glam theme. If you can’t wear outrageous bright colours on your eyes at a festival. Then when can you? Which is they this palette from Lottie is perfect for festivals. And for less than £10 it’s an absolute bargain as well. With 12 colours to choose from, in every shade of the rainbow, I can’t wait to experiment with some very bright festival looks!

Colour Freedom Pink Pizazz £6.99

Although it’s become socially acceptable to have pink coloured hair at any time of the year. Thank goodness. But it’s still a fab way to change up your look for a festival. And for me pink is the only colour I want my hair at the festivals I’m off to this summer. But while achieving a colour like pink can be hard. It really isn’t with Colour Freedom. It’s easy to use, with surprising brilliant results for an at home hair dye. You can pick them up here.

Sunkissed Bronze Professional Rapid Tan and Tone £9.99

Now while some of us may have been lucky enough to have built up a natural tan on our holidays. For the rest of us, we have to rely on getting that golden glow from a bottle. Or in this case a spray. And if you’re going to be getting your legs out for a festival. Then you want to make sure they’re bronzed. Right? And the best thing about this tan, is the fact that it starts to develop in just 60 minutes. You can pick it up here.

Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Targeted Sun Defence Stick SPF 50 £15

And finally, it’s time for a sensible item. Sunscreen. Because sometimes festivals are sunny. And sun burn is not cool. I’m sure you’re aware that we should be wearing a SPF on our faces on a daily basis. But what’s great about this little stick from Elizabeth Arden. Is that you can use this stick to target any over-exposed areas. Like your lips, nose, earlobes or even scars. You can pick yours up here.
