As you may know, (because I did go on about quite a bit) I turned 30 back in December. And you know what? It wasn’t that bad. In fact my 30’s are turning out to be pretty amazing. But while I may still feel like I’m 18 in my head. One of the areas I’m definitely not looking 18 in, is my skin. I generally try and stick to a pretty consistent skincare routine. But now I’m in 30’s, this has become much more of a priority. So much so that I’m now using a huge array of different products to transform my skin. Which is why I thought I’d share with you a the skincare products that are working wonders on my skin right now.
Liz Earle Hot Cloth Cleanse & Polish
I’ve been a fan of Liz Earle and the Holy Grail that is the Hot Cloth Cleanser for years now. But it’s honestly one of my favourite cleansers to use. It gently removes the day’s dirt and makeup while leaving your skin feeling super clean and fresh. It’s become such a huge part of my morning routine that I would feel a little lost without it!
Pixi Glow Tonic
I’m ashamed to admit that I’ve only recently started using this again. And in that short amount of time, I’ve noticed a big change in my skin. The best way to describe it is that my skin has a soft and subtle glow to it. I’ve bene using it morning and night after cleansing to remove any build up on the skin. Instantly it makes my skin feel clean and nourished and my complexion just look a little more radiant than usual.
SöndHydrate + Refresh
If you’ve seen my recent Sönd Skincare Detox video, then you’ll know I’m a big fan of their products, and this hydrating face spray. I find it gives my skin an instant moisture boost with long-lasting hydration. It’s incredibly lightweight and gentle on the skin so perfect for those of us with sensitive or irritated skin.
Kathleen
Again this is another new addition to my skincare routine. But I’m loving the results so much that I think this one will stay around for quite some time! Made with over nine natural extracts that target fine lines, this serum has been helping to improve my skin’s firmness and elasticity. As well as protecting against any dryness, this serum has been leaving my skin feeling super soft and hydrated.
Dermalogica Phyto Replenish Oil
I’m not sure Dermalogica have bought out a product I didn’t love. And this oil is no exception. It leaves my skin looking better with a subtle glow. And despite it being an oil, it doesn’t leave my skin looking or feeling greasy at all.
Temple Spa Eye Truffle
This is probably the most luxurious eye cream I own. But that’s not the only reason I love it! It may be made with black summer truffles, champagne extract strawberries and gold and silk actives. But this eye cream is also responsible for helping to brighten and improve my under eye area, leaving the skin firmer, calming any puffiness and reducing dark circles.
Caudalie Resveratrol Life
I’m a big fan of this light but nourishing cream. It works to smooth wrinkles while plumping the facial contours. Meaning any imperfections are reduced for a more youthful and glowy appearance. Which is what we all want right? I just find it leaves my skin feeling and looking smoother, more hydrated with a lovely glow. Plus it has soft focus mattifying powders which work to blur and prime the skin making it the perfect base for applying makeup.
