Now, I don’t know about you, but it’s practically spring already, right? I mean we’re almost at the end of March. I know, I have no idea how this year has managed to fly by as quickly as it has done either. But it has. And we’re well and truly about to start Spring right now. This is why I thought I’d share with you all my spring foundation edit. Now those who are regular readers of this blog will know that I really don’t love a heavy foundation. I much prefer a lighter formula for my foundations. And as we’re heading into warmer weather – fingers crossed – let me share with you all the three foundations that are getting me through spring.
SUPER HEALTHY SKIN SHEER TINTED OIL-FREE SPF20 £6.70
Now, if you’re not tried Beauty Pie before. Or not familiar with the concept. Then this post explains everything and tells you how to grab your first month for free! But if you’re a fan of the IT Cosmetics CC Cream also featured in this round-up, then you’ll love this. As it’s oil-free, it gives me a lovely natural-skin luminising glow without the shine. But with the same great coverage that you’d expect from a product like this.
CHARLOTTE TILBURY MAGIC FOUNDATION
Now the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Foundation is a little heavier than the other two, but I still love it. It’s great if you want to cover any acne, scarring, redness, or discolouration. And, as it is a heavier foundation, it can also work to smooth out any wrinkles and wake up tired-looking skin – which is just what I need right now. But more than anything else, I love that when I wear this, people always compliment me on how well my skin looks. And it’s all down to this beauty.
IT COSMETICS YOUR SKIN BUT BETTER CC CREAM
Now I don’t know about you, but in the warmer weather, I just can’t wear a heavy foundation. I find the texture just slips off my face in the heat. But the IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC+ Oil-Free Matte version is perfect to wear when it’s warm. Although it is more of a full-coverage CC cream, it feels incredibly lightweight on the skin. It covers any pigmentation, dark circles, or redness and just gives your skin a lovely soft glow. Rather than a sweaty shine, which is what I find other foundations give me in the heat.
So there you have it. My Spring foundation edit. Let me know in the comments whether you’ve tried any of these and what your favourite spring foundation is to wear.
