Now normally I’m not one for fakes or dupes. I work really hard for my small collection of designer pieces and love the experiences of getting to treat myself to a little luxury now and then. However, when you walk into Dune and see what could be a pair of Valentino Rockstuds, it would be rude not to buy one, or two, pairs right?
Well that’s what happened when I discovered these beauties last week. And with 20% off I bought both pairs before I even blinked. At just £68 each (instead of £85) these shoes are almost a tenth of the price of the originals. How could I say no?
Well I couldn’t obviously. Which is why I’m now the proud owner of these two shoes. One in the cream patent leather and one in the mock reptile in navy. And I love them! I’m really pleased I picked both of these up. As someone who can’t walk in heels for a prolonged period of time, I was surprised by how comfortable these shoes are. Now I’m not saying I could walk 10 miles in them, I definitely couldn’t. But for a day in the office, a night out or a walk around the shops these shoes last pretty well.
Plus they look lovely on. They feel like a real grown up, classy, beautiful shoe that someone who has their shizz together would wear. I don’t have my shizz together at all, but I like looking like I do! With the cream and navy pair now taking pride of place in my wardrobe, I now need to decide which colour to get next. Because two pairs isn’t enough really is it?
