Now I don’t know about you, but there is nothing like the New Year to make me want to completely overhaul everything in my life. Whether that’s reorganising my wardrobe, refreshing my beauty and skincare stash or redecorating my place. But seeing as winning the lottery wasn’t one of my Christmas presents this year, I’ve settled with just adding new touches and updating my living room.
Now the first big thing I’ve added, and one that I’m obsessed with, is a huge leopard foot stall. Now it’s actually large enough to act as another seat in my somewhat cosy two-bedroom flat. Which is a lifesaver when I have friends round. The foot stall is actually from Erica Davies range with QVC. And it was incredibly reasonable for the size and quality of the product. Another update in the living room is some new additions to the white ladder shelves. I tend to change these up every couple of months or so, otherwise, I get bored of the same old set up. The newest pieces including two Chanel books. A faux plant from IKEA and this very cute giraffe print from desenio.
There are still more changes I want to make. I might switch up the three prints above the tv. I’ll no doubt change the items on the ladder shelves and I love the idea of a couple of acoustic wall panels. Not necessarily for sound reasons but definitely for style reasons. But for the time being, I’m pretty content with the recent updates and changes to my little space I call home.
So as you can see, I’ve been updating my living room. Has the New Year inspired you to reorganise, refresh or redecorate any part of your life so far? Let me know in the comments below what changes you’ve implemented thanks to the New Year. You can find all my other home content here.
