Happy Monday everyone! I don’t know about everyone else but one of the things I really struggle with is finding a good mattifying foundation. Especially now the weather is getting a bit warmer. While I prefer a dewy look in the winter, it’s all about the matte for me in the summer. Which is why I was really keen to get my hands on the new Clarins Pore Perfecting Matifying Foundation and compact.
Now this is just about to launch and if you’re a fan of mattifying foundations then you need to give this a go. Trust me you will not be disappointed! Not only it is incredibly lightweight to wear on the skin. But it also blurs imperfections and minimises lines and pores thanks to the acacia gum mircopearls. There’s red clay in there as well which helps to eradicate shine. And the soft focus peals add luminosity for a truly flawless complexion.
There are currently five shades available. And I had two of them to try – 01 Nude Ivory, and 02 Nude Beige. 01 is perfect for my skin right now as I’m incredibly pale. But 02 will be perfect as we move into summer and I hopefully get some sort of a tan! The other three shades are 03 Nude Honey, 04 Nude Amber and 05 Nude Cappuccino.
Along with the new foundations, Clarins are also launching a Pore Mattifying Kit. Which features a super-fine translucent powder and refillable blotting papers. To ensure you stay shine free throughout the whole day! I love using both of these together and they worked brilliantly at keeping my skin matte during the recent warm weather.
The Clarins Pore Perfecting Matifying Foundation (£28) and compact (£33) both launch on 9th April. And you can see more of the Clarins summer collection next week, so stay tuned!
