Now I don’t know about you. But along with the right pair of shoes, or the right handbag, sunglasses can really make an outfit. From statement shades to classic styles, sunglasses can really change your whole look. And they’re one of my new obsessions. I never used to be that into sunglasses. I’d normally pick up a new pair every couple of years. And would normally just shop for a new pair on the High Street. But then a few years ago, I decided to treat myself to my first designer pair and I’ve not looked back since.
While there’s nothing wrong with buying sunglasses from the High Street, there’s just something special about picking up a good designer pair. For one, they’ll probably last longer. I’ve had my D&G ones for about three years now and they still look brand new. Plus if you get a classic style, they’ll never go out of fashion. Just like my latest pair. These gorgeous classic Ray Bans. Now I have to admit, I’ve always had a soft spot for Pay Bans. Some of my earliest memories are of my dad wearing them when I was growing up. So I’m so excited to be able to add these to my growing designer sunglasses collection.
I love the timeless and classic design of these shades. They really make a statement and best of all, suit my round face! It’s one of the things I struggle most with when picking new frames. Finding ones that will flatter my face and are big enough. I’m just not cool enough to be able to pull off small frames! Which is why I tend to stick the same kind of styles and designs. And these Ray Bans are certainly my new favourites.
You can find the Ray Bans from Leightons here.
As always thank you to Kaye for taking these pictures!
What do you think of these sunglasses? What’s your favourite style of sunglasses to wear?
