My new obsession | Classic Ray Bans

Ray Bans

Now I don’t know about you. But along with the right pair of shoes, or the right handbag, sunglasses can really make an outfit. From statement shades to classic styles, sunglasses can really change your whole look. And they’re one of my new obsessions. I never used to be that into sunglasses. I’d normally pick up a new pair every couple of years. And would normally just shop for a new pair on the High Street. But then a few years ago, I decided to treat myself to my first designer pair and I’ve not looked back since.

Ray Bans

While there’s nothing wrong with buying sunglasses from the High Street, there’s just something special about picking up a good designer pair. For one, they’ll probably last longer. I’ve had my D&G ones for about three years now and they still look brand new. Plus if you get a classic style, they’ll never go out of fashion. Just like my latest pair. These gorgeous classic Ray Bans. Now I have to admit, I’ve always had a soft spot for Pay Bans. Some of my earliest memories are of my dad wearing them when I was growing up. So I’m so excited to be able to add these to my growing designer sunglasses collection.

Ray Bans

I love the timeless and classic design of these shades. They really make a statement and best of all, suit my round face! It’s one of the things I struggle most with when picking new frames. Finding ones that will flatter my face and are big enough. I’m just not cool enough to be able to pull off small frames! Which is why I tend to stick the same kind of styles and designs. And these Ray Bans are certainly my new favourites.

You can find the Ray Bans from Leightons here.

As always thank you to Kaye for taking these pictures!

What do you think of these sunglasses? What’s your favourite style of sunglasses to wear?

They really suit you. I’m not very good with sunglasses I can never find ones that look right and with two kids when I do buy a pair they either get lost or broken, safe to say I will never own ray-bans lol x

I always have aviators or oval types, as I like to have as much of my eyes covered as possible. Ray Bans are such a classic look, and make that I think they are faultless. If you’re going to go buy designer, this should probably be first on the list.

Those sunglasses are cute. My favorite kind are ones I can buy at Walmart. I don’t want to invest in expensive sunglasses yet because my kids tend to get a hold of them and sometimes break them. I stick with cheap ones for now.

I really like the ran ban style but I don’t think the shaping suits my face. They look great on you x

I have to admit that I have bought lots of cheap sunglasses over the years and they just get thrown in my handbag. However my Mum bought me a pair of Tommy Hilfiger ones and I still have them in their original case with glasses cloth! I do think you look after them better than a “throwaway” pair, and these look great on you!!

Admittedly, I have a love/hate relationship with sunglasses. I’m forever losing them. So it’s a debate, do I buy a cheaper pair so I don’t feel too bad when they’ve gone missing, or do I buy a more expensive pair with the hope that I’ll take better care because I paid more? Since I’m sunglass-less at the moment, I’ll have to take a look at the Ray Ban’s. They sure look great on you!

I’ve not developed a sunglasses obsession and I’ve no idea why! I really need to invest in a good pair, I just wear cheap rubbish ones that are not flattering in the slightest.

I have about 6 pairs of sunglasses and not all designers ones but I do love shades and quite literally obsessed. I am loving how these ray bans frame your face

These are absolutely gorgeous. I’ve never bought any Ray-Bans before, but I do think they look fab whenever I see them 🙂
