Urban Decay Naked Smoky Palette

Urban Decay Naked Smoky Palette

As soon as I saw that Urban Decay was launching yet another naked palette, I knew I had to have it. I can’t help. And having ordered the Urban Decay Naked Smoky Palette from their website as soon as it was available, and paying over the odds in shipping, I couldn’t wait for it to arrive. And I’m not disappointed.

In my opinion this is the best packaging yet. It’s a plastic case with a smoke print, which looks amazing. But it’s also incredible durable and lightweight. Plus it has a large full sized mirror and a duo blending brush. And unlike the other Naked palettes, the Naked Smoky palette also comes with a step by step guide for various smoky looks, which is not only easy to follow but also inspiring.

I love that this palette contains an equal proportion of warm and cool shades, as well as shimmers, glitters and mattes. And contrary to popular belief, this palette isn’t just for creating dramatic evening looks. You can easily create soft and subtle daytime with these shades as well.

As expected, the formulation of the 12 smoky shades is great. They’re well pigmented, easy to apply and blend and last forever on the lids when using primer. Plus the duo blending brush is pretty good. It’s a synthetic brush specifically designed for blending and smoking out the eyeshadow.

So here are the 12 shades:

I’m so pleased I added this Naked palette to my collection. In my opinion, it’s well worth the money.
