Happy Friday everyone! I think it’s fair to say we’re officially in Autumn right? The evenings are starting to get darker earlier. The weather definitely doesn’t feel like summer any more. And all the shops have replaced bikini’s and flip flops with chunky knit jumpers and boots. And I couldn’t be happier! Although I do love Summer, I love Autumn more. And although we’re entering what is arguable the later half of the year. Autumn always reminds me of starting afresh.
Obviously the school and academic calendars start now, but as someone who pretty much failed nearly all of her New Years’ Resolutions., Whoops. Autumn feels like the perfect time to get back on track and achieve those goals I set myself all those months ago.
So what am I planning to achieve this Autumn? Well for starters, I need to be more organised! Running this blog, working full time and trying to have some kind of a social life is exhausting at times. It doesn’t help that as soon as my work life or social life get busy. My blog suffers. Seeing as the blog is a hobby, and not my main source of income. It’s not the end of the world if I don’t post for a day or two. But this blog is one of my biggest passions. So not posting doesn’t feel great. I love to blog and feel like I’m letting down the readers, and PRs when I’m blogging consistently five days a week.
But I need to get more organised, as I’ve decided to jump back on YouTube! My first video in what feels like forever, went up last Friday. And I already have this Sunday’s one edited and uploaded ready to go. But with video ideas scheduled all the way up until the middle of November. I need to get organised and make sure five new pieces of content come out on the blog every week. And a new video every Sunday. No pressure there!
And finally, my autumn to do list is about taking back control of my life. All too often when things get busy. I struggle to deal with the stress. Which results in me neglecting to lead a healthy lifestyle. I struggle to eat the right things, exercise well and get enough sleep every night. But we’re about to enter the busiest time of year when it comes to work life, social life and blog life. So I need to ensure I’m taking care of myself.

You look super pretty! I think we’re all guilty of neglecting ourselves sometimes.. so you’re not alone. I need to be more organized too and have a better blog schedule, but I don’t want to pressure myself either.
