Hello December

Now I don’t know about you, but I can’t believe the final month of the year is here. We’ve made it. It’s December and there are only 30 or so more days left in this year. And in this decade. And then it’ll be time to start afresh with another 12 months of possibilities ahead. But before I jump in and start planning on how fabulous I’m going to be in 2020. Let’s take a look back at the past month.

Now for me November was a very quiet month in comparison to October. October saw holidays and busy weekend after busy weekend. November has seen me watch a whole lot of Netflix and pretty much demolish all the Christmas chocolate already.

But that’s what Novembers are for right? To get you all rested before the chaos that is Christmas begins. And for me, that chaos begins this week with a team away day and my works Christmas party. For which I’ve bought myself the most over the top dress I could find. A sequin leopard print number which I doubt I’ll be taking off for most of the month. As it seems to be the perfect dress for everything I have planned!

Following the work stuff, I have Christmas events planned with friends, including a trip to the very festive Friends Festival in London. As well as a little birthday to celebrate. Yep, that’s right, I turn 33 on the 20th. As much as I love this time of year, I’m not the biggest fan of having a birthday that close to the big day. But I’m sure I’ll get through it with the amount of Prosecco I plan on drinking.

Aside from that, there will also be the usual catch ups with friends, family and loved ones this festive period. And that is something I can’t wait for.

What have you got planned for December?
