Too Faced Born This Way Palette

Now I picked up this Too Faced Born This Way Palette a couple of weeks back. Back when the world was a normal place and I wore makeup a lot more than I do now. Honestly, working from home and not going out, unless it’s my one form of exercise a day. Or my weekly food shopping trip has really shown me that being out of a routine can have a big impact on my appearance. When I was heading into the office daily, doing my hair and makeup was a big part of my morning routine. With my commute being just a couple of minutes walk away from my bedroom to my living room, the hair and makeup routine have gone out the window!

But I know once the world returns back to normal, so will my routine. And once again, makeup will be something I wear most days. And once that day comes, I can’t wait to use this Too Faced Born This Way Palette.

Too Faced Born This Way Palette

If you’re a regular reader of this blog, then you will know that I am a big Too Faced fan. I’ve always loved their makeup range, and this palette is no expectation. Inspired by their Born This Way Foundation shades, this palette features 16 all-new, highly-pigmented shades. Including mattes and metallics to shimmers and sparkles, this palette is just beautiful. I love the fact that the colours deepen as you go through the palette and that it’s full of really wearable shades. In case you’re wondering, the shades are…

Too Faced Born This Way Palette
  • Swan – eggshell
  • Shimmering Pearl – gold/pink shift
  • Nude – medium neutral brown
  • Rose Gold – rose gold
  • Warm Rose -rosy nude
  • Golden Light – sparkling antique gold
  • Cocoa – medium chocolate brown
  • Sparkling Sable – metallic brown red
  • Glistening Snow – white/gold shift
  • Seashell – peachy cream
  • Sparkling Sand – rose taupe
  • Petal – light peachy pink
  • Sparkling Rum – rose mauve
  • Maple – warm caramel brown
  • Sugared Chestnut – metallic golden brown
  • Truffle – deep rich brown

Just like you would imagine them to be, the shades are incredibly easy to wear. They’re soft, pigmented and extremely blendable. Which means this will surely become one of my most used palettes. Once the world gets back to normal of course The Too Faced Born This Way palette is available for £35. It’s definitely not the cheapest of palettes. But it’s also not the most expensive. Right now this probably isn’t a necessity for most of us, but if you’re in the market for a new palette. It is a beautiful one to add to your collection. And one that I’m sure you’ll get a lot of use of. I know I will.
