My top three products to try from Olaplex

Now I don’t know about you, but Olplex really is one of those holy grail hair products out there. I was late to the party (as per usual), wondering if these products were worth the money. Do they really deliver on their promises. And as usual, they do. They really do. I’ve been on a little hair journey really to stop using so much heat on my hair. My ends were damaged. My hair felt and looked fine and thin. Step one was to start using the Dyson Airwrap and stop using my usual hairdryer and GHDs. Step two was using better products on my hair. And step three was to start using Olaplex. So if you’re new to the brand or just not sure where to start. Here are my top three products to try from Olaplex.

My top three products to try from Olaplex

So here are the three Olaplex products I picked up. First up is the holy grail Olaplex No.3 Hair Perfector. This is a targeted hair treatment that helps to not only improve the look and feel of your hair. But as it’s a treatment rather than a conditioner, it also helps to restore your hair’s structure and integrity, returning your locks to a healthier appearance and texture.  I personally like to use this once a week. I’ll wet my hair, take a small amount of product and start working it through my hair. Using a comb to ensure it’s evenly distributed. I leave it on for about 30 minutes, then get in the shower and wash and condition my hair as normal.

Next up is the Olaplex No.7 Bonding Oil. Now I love this! And probably use this one the most. It’s a highly-concentrated, weightless styling oil. That works to increase shine, softness and colour vibrancy. It also helps to minimize fly-aways and frizz. Which is what I need as I have still to work out how to use the Dyson Airwrap without causing frizz at the roots! I personally use this on dry hair, although you can also use it on wet hair. After I’ve styled my hair, I gently tap out a few drops of this oil, quickly work it through my hands and then work it through my hair. Focusing on the drier parts and the frizz at the roots.

And finally, the third Olaplex product you need to try is Olaplex No.8 Bond Intense Moisture Mask. Now this is a highly-concentrated 4-in-1 mask that helps to soften, strengthen and restore your dry or damaged hair. Which is just what my hair needs at the moment! It’s enriched with Olaplex’s bond-building technology which works at a molecular level to help repair broken hair bonds. Restore elasticity and protect your hair follicle from any further damage. I personally like to use this every other week. I apply it onto clean but damp hair focusing on the mid-lengths to ends. Leave for about 10 minutes and then rinse fully and style.

If you want to shop the full range of Olaplex products you can here. And if you use my exclusive discount code, you can save 20% on Olaplex! Just enter LFTFMERRYMUSING at the checkout.

So these were my top three products to try from Olaplex. Have you tried Olaplex before? What’s your favourite hair product to use?
