Nail polishes for Spring

Nail polishes for Spring I am really feeling like Spring is just around the corner. The weather is getting slightly warmer and it’s staying lighter for longer. And this feeling of Spring time is definitely coming through in my choice of nail colours at the moment. The deep reds and rich plums are being pushed aside for a more pastel pick on the nails. Which is why I thought I’d share with you all my favourite nail polishes for Spring.

Rimmel ‘Fancy a dip’

This is one of my favourite blue nail polishes. It’s a gorgeous creamy sea blue that is glossy with a subtle sheen. Rimmel is probably one of my favourite high street nail polish brands. Not only are they unbelievably affordable at £2.99 a bottle, but the formula is not too thick, or too thin, and the wide angle brush makes it so easy to apply onto the nails.

ModelsOwn HyperGel ‘Naked Glow’

One of my favourite gel like nail polishes on the market has to be the ModelsOwn HyperGel collection. They are designed with a thicker formula than a normal nail polish to give a gel effect finish. And they do just that. Naked Glow is a lovely soft beige colour. I find I wear this a lot as I think having neutral nails is a really chic look.

Barry M Speedy Quick Nail Paint in ‘Eat my Dust’

I’ve only recently blogged about the new Barry M collection but the gorgeous pastel shades are some of my favourites for Spring. As the name suggests these speedy polishes do dry in super quick time with the nails achieving touch dry status within a few minutes and then completely dry within 10. One of my favourite shades is this gorgeous pale blue colour that is just so easy to wear.

Revlon Parfumerie Scented Nail Enamels ‘Lavender Soap’

I loved these when they were released last year. And my favourite colour and scent has to be Lavender Soap. It’s such a pretty, pale frosty lilac colour. The formula for this polish is a little thin with one coat so I would definitely recommend two. The scent is very clean and refreshing, making it perfect for Spring time.

Barry M Gelly Nail Polish in ‘Rose Hip’

I can’t believe this colour was launched almost a year ago. The pastel pink has made so many appearances on my nails over the past 12 month, and I know that trend will continue into Spring and Summer this year. The beautiful strawberry milkshake pink colour is so wearable and just seems to go with any outfit.

These have been my favourite nail polishes for Spring. What nail polish and shades are you looking forward to wearing over the next few months?
