Magnitone Lucid facial brush

Although I love to use different cleansers as part of my skincare routine, I hadn’t tried a cleansing facial brush before until the Magnitone Lucid Facial Brush landed on my doorstep and now I’m a convert.

So what does the Magnitone Lucid Facial Brush do? Well it gently cleanses and exfoliates your skin removing impurities and dead skin cells. The soft brush head gentle rotates against the surface of the skin leaving your skin looking fresher and brighter. When I first tried this, I was a little apprehensive that the rotating brush would be a little harsh on my skin but actually I was surprised to find that it’s really gently and it just feels like my skin is being lightly buffed.

What I really like about the Magnitone Lucid Facial Brush is that it’s so easy to use, you literally just press the button and you’re good to go. It’s waterproof so you can use in the shower, it has two different cleansing speeds and beeps every 20 seconds to remind you to move onto a different area ensuring that you don’t overuse it on certain parts of your face. I prefer to use the facial brush with a cleanser that has a little exfoliant in it as well so that I’m cleansing and exfoliating my skin at the same time. But it also works just as well with my all time favourite cleanser – the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser.

Having used this for a few days I’ve already noticed that my skin is looking brighter and healthier. Although I think this could be too harsh to use every day, this is already becoming a firm favourite in my skincare routine and I will definitely be using this once or twice a week to thoroughly cleanse and exfoliate my face.

What are your thoughts on cleansing brushes? Do you use one?

If you fancy trying out the Magnitone Lucid for yourself the generous people at Magnitone have given me a unique discount code to share with you all, so just enter Stephanie20 at the checkout and you can receive 20% off a Magnitone Lucid.

I love using this, especially as I can be quite lazy and this doesn’t require a lot of effort x

I’ve never used one, I did wonder how harsh they would be on the skin, but this actually sounds ok.
