Beauty is big business. With millions of beauty blogs, websites and magazines around there are so many different outlets that you can turn to for beauty advice, so where do you go for beauty advice?
For me there are three main outlets:
Blogs and YouTube channels
If I want someone’s honest opinion on a lipstick or want to see how someone else uses a hair tool then I head straight to my favourite bloggers and YouTubers. I can rely on their trusted opinion and know whether something is truly worth spending my money on. Some of my favourites include London Beauty Queen, Fleur de Force, Vivianna Does Makeup and British Beauty Blogger.
Magazines
There’s nothing more exciting then receiving the latest editions through your door, or browsing the magazine isle in the supermarket to see which ones have the best freebies and the hottest cover stars. And then curling up on the sofa and spending an hour flicking through the glossy beauty pages, drooling over the impressive photography and reading beauty tips from the Editors. Some of my favourites include InStyle, Grazia and Elle.
Beauty news websites
If I want the latest news on what is happening in the beauty industry, and advice from beauty experts then I turn to Grazia Daily. From the newest hair trends and just announced beauty collaborations to learning how to strobe and fitness tips, it’s got it all covered.. With a group of real industry insiders I find myself checking the website five times a day and constantly checking their Twitter feed for the breaking beauty news and advice.
So where do you go for your beauty advice?

i either look on blogs or YouTube mostly and I will ask people on Twitter as you know there is always someone there who will know x

You tube is great as they do demonstrations on how to apply, love it!!!
I love youtube for everything other than Vloggers, there are some great tutorials to be found x
I always refer to VDM’s blog or definitely Temptalia when it comes to swatches and comparisons.
Great post!

Definetly blog and youtube for me !
I definitely check out blogs – Youtube if I’m desperate. I really like to check for smaller bloggers reviewing the product too I find they have a better grasp on value for money/if it was worth the purchase because they likely paid for it! xxx
Karan
I go to youtube for tutorials and go to blogs for reviews
