A Benefit double act

A Benefit double act

A Benefit double act

As you may have seen from my high end beauty haul, I was feeling rather spendy after Christmas and decided to treat myself to a lot of new makeup. After all, I wasn’t going to spend my vouchers on something sensible was I? So let me share with you all two of Benefit purchases. Or as I now refer to them as the perfect Benefit double act – The Big Easy Complexion Perfector and Hello Flawless Powder Foundation. Used separately they’re lovely but together they’re amazing.

Benefit Big Easy Complexion Perfector £28.50

This is so much more than your average BB Cream. It promises to balance, moisturise and control oil, which is just what I need. I picked this up because I’m not a fan of a heavy foundation and much prefer a lighter formula on my skin. I normally use a variety of BB or CC creams or lighter foundations and this appealed to me because of the big promises. But boy does it deliver. I’ve been using this a while now and it’s one of my favourite products for tackling shine, minimising the appearance of my pores and covering redness. I also love that it’s buildable so you can use it to conceal your problem areas. And although it has a silky formula that slips onto the skin, it has a velvet finish. And it looks great with the Hello Flawless Powder over the top.

Benefit Hello Flawless Powder Foundation SPF15 £25.50

I’ve been tempted by this powder for a while now and finally gave in and bought it after Christmas. And I love it. It gives a very natural look on it’s on, or you can apply it over a foundation for a more polished look. Personally I wear it over the Big Easy Complexion Perfector for a natural but glowy look that stays in place all day. I also love that this powder comes with a mirror, sponge and brush. So you can use the brush for lighter coverage and the pad for more coverage. It’s now one of my favourite powders to use and I know I will be repurchasing this as soon as this runs out.

Have you tried either of these products? What’s your favourite Benefit product?

I love the Big Easy for a lighter coverage in summer, it really is great for tackling shine, you’re SO right. I received mine as a gift so I didn’t realise is cost quite so much, I’m surprised at £28.50 and not entirely sure I’d pay that for it myself but it is really lovely.
I also have the hello flawless foundation so I really should try the powder to match, sounds interesting 🙂

I really want to try the Complexion Perfector! It sounds perfect. My favourite Benefit product has to be the They’re Real Eyeliner x
