Lancôme Miracle Cushion Foundation Review

Lancôme Miracle Cushion Foundation

Since this foundation launched back in February I’ve heard so many good things about it. I love the ide of a mix between liquid and cream foundation – which this is – so was really intrigued to try it myself. Plus although it comes as a compact, you buy additional refills as and when you need to – which is just a genius idea!

The idea of this cushion based foundation is actually a Korean concept that has been big over there for a while now and like the BB trend it’s taken a while for it filter through into the western world of cosmetics. And I’m glad it has – I love this foundation! I tried this for my BAFTA Party (more to come on Sunday) and it’s really lovely. I have no idea how this works but the sponge is wet with foundation and it doesn’t leak or spill at all. I found the foundation to be incredibly lightweight and cooling on the skin. Rather than a super glowy finish, you get more of a light natural velvety finish with a buildable coverage. I found I still needed to use a concealer for any blemishes and my dark circles but I prefer foundations with more of a medium than heavy coverage.

This foundations just seems to blend seamlessly into my skin and you get the choice of using the sponge within the compact, or a brush. You really don’t need to blend this at all, the wet liquid just glides onto the skin without settling into any enlarged pores or lines and it doesn’t cling to any dry areas either – it just creates a natural and light level of coverage that stays in place for a good eight hours. Plus as it contains SPF 23 it’s great to wear in pictures as it isn’t prone to ‘flashing back’ in photography.

I’ve really not tried anything like foundation before and I love it! It’s so light and different in texture to anything else on the market at the moment. Plus I love that you can buy the refills, which is perfect for when you’ve run out or have gone up a shade or two in the sunshine.

Lancome Miracle Cushion Foundation is £30 and is available from the Lancome website.

I’ve still to try a cushion foundation. It sounds so easy to apply and is so perfect for travel without any risk of leakages. Your skin looks flawless :). Tx

Your skin looks amazing! I have to say I really like the sound of this and I love that you can buy refills rather than having to replace the whole thing 🙂

Ooh you look gorgeous and the foundation isn’t noticeable on the skin at all! I really want to try a cushion foundation and this one looks amazing!
