Christmas in July

I know what your thinking and please don’t get annoyed that I’ve used the ‘C’ word in July. I know it’s early. Like really early! But if you work in the media world then it’s not too early to be talking about Christmas. Longer lead magazines work about four to five months in advance so for them, they’re already planning their Christmas supplements. For the rest of us, the Christmas in July shows are a great excuse to get a little excited about Christmas. And get a sneak peak at the products launching in the next few months.

This year I was lucky enough to head to three pretty amazing shows including House of Fraser, Next and Liberty. All three were full of the most gorgeous Christmas products. For House of of Fraser, I’m really excited that Charlotte Tilbury is  coming to their stores, along with Kate Spade. Plus they have a great selection of gold pineapple and pug Christmas accessories and decorations – my Christmas is now complete!

As expect from Next they have some seriously beautiful homewares coming over the next few months. Along with some fabulous party dresses. Honestly if I could, I would have my whole house decorated in homeware from Next – they’re stuff is amazing. If you’re looking for higher end gifts then definitely head to Liberty. The beauty advent calendar is pretty spectacular this year and their also offering personalised leather clutch bags and shoulder bags. They also have some of the best Christmas candles around and some lovely Kate Spade stationery.
