What I got for my 30th birthday

So as you might have noticed I celebrated my 30th birthday this week. Yep that’s right, I hit the big 30 on Tuesday. And what an amazing day it was! If you didn’t catch any of my Snapchats or Instagram stories my celebrations actually starred last Saturday with dinner and drinks in London. Continued with a spa day and afternoon tea at Luton Hoo on Monday. And then concluded with my work’s Christmas lunch and another family meal on the day of my birthday. All in all it was a fab time and I loved celebrating my big day with those closest to me.

I have to say I was incredibly spoilt this year present wise. And as a disclaimer, I just want to say this is not a bragging post. I do posts like this because I personally love to read them and I know other people like to read them. But I wanted to share with you all some of the lovely gifts I got. So here’s what I got for my 30th birthday:

Tiffany T Ring 

This was my main present from my mum, step dad, dad and step mum. I will say this was a joint Birthday and Christmas present as it’s pretty expensive. But I love it. I really wanted something that I could keep as a present. For my 21st I got given a beautiful charm bracelet that I still wear. So wanted something that would last a long time. And that I could keep forever. The ring comes in silver, gold and rose gold, and I’m sure it won’t shock you to know I picked it in rose gold.

Kate Spade ‘Spade’ Rose Gold Bracelet

Now I will admit, that it did feel like those closest to me just raided Kate Spade for my birthday. And I’m not complaining! One of the Kate Spade gifts was this gorgeous Spade enamel bracelet. I wear a lot of rose gold – as if you couldn’t tell – and do like a bracelet that I can stack with others. This is one is currently nestled between my ChloBo Hamsa Hand one and a Marc Jacobs one from last year.

Kate Spade Water Cup

Now those who know me well, know I don’t drink hot drinks. So instead of getting one of those cool travel coffee mugs, I got a water cup instead! I love the gold and white pattern and this will be a beautiful addition to my desk at work.

Kate Spade Odds and Ends Plate

I’ve been wanting this plate for so long. I love having lots of little decorative plates like this around my place. But this has to be the fanciest one I own. I love the gold detailing and the quote. I just need to decide what to place on it. Or whether I save it for when I move out to a new place.

Kate Spade ‘S’ Notebook

Again those who know me, know how much I love stationery. And even though I must own about 100 different notebooks (or it feels like that at least). You can never have too many can you? Which is why I’m so excited to have this gorgeous Kate Spade one. Not sure what I’m going to use it for yet. But it may just be a desk and blog picture prop for now.

Ted Baker Bow Earrings x2

Now I might be hard to buy for but that didn’t stop two people from buying me almost identical earrings. Good thing I love both pairs! Both are from Ted Baker, in rose gold and are cute little bows. One set are slightly more geometrical but I love both pairs.

Accessorize Necklace

My lovely work colleagues got me this gorgeous necklace from Accessorize. I love chunkier statement pieces and this is just beautiful! I love the mix of rose gold, silver and golds and know I’ll get a lot of wear out of it.

Along with these beautiful gifts I also received champagne, chocolates, money and vouchers. To say I was spoilt is an understatement and I get to do it all over again tomorrow with Christmas!
