If I had to describe my style, I would definitely say it’s relaxed with a bit of an edgy vibe. I mean if I could live in my converse trainers, skinny jeans, tops and biker jackets I’d be a very happy lady. But as we move into Summer it’s time to ditch the jeans and jumpers. Bare the legs. And find outfits that fit my style but transition well into summer.
And I think I’ve found that with this outfit. Now you might be surprised to hear this dress and scarf is actually from East. Now I know what you might be thinking. East might not be your usual shop to visit on the High Street. But it really should be!
East are known for their natural fabrics and easy shapes to wear. In fact the dress I’ve picked – the Bardot neck dress – is one of their best sellers. And it’s easy to see why. It’s an effortless style that’s so easy to wear. It’s not too tight, sits well on the knee and the colour is gorgeous. Oh and it has pockets!
Plus the breathable fabric makes it perfect for warmer weather. For when summer does decide to make an appearance of course! And I have to say I love that the dress is a pretty relaxed style. You can dress it up with cute sandals or wedges. Or dress it down with some flip flips or converse. And always throw a biker jacket over the top for when it’s a bit cooler.
What I also really love about East is their prints are designed in house in London and are exclusive to them. They have some amazing one off pieces in their shops and online, as well as some beautiful designs that you can dress up or dress down. Just like this gorgeous smudged animal scarf. I’m a sucker for scarves. Especially ones that resemble any kind of animal print. So it was pretty much love at first site when I saw this!
