A new face mask to try this summer

Clarins SOS Pure Rebalancing Clay Mask

Now I don’t know about you. But even though it’s summer. My skin is in desperate need of a pick me up. Despite the fact that a little vitamin D normally helps to perk up my skin. It’s just not happening at the moment! My skin is looking dry, dull and in need of a radiant boost ASAP. Which is why this new mask from Clarins could not come at a better times. Clarins have actually launched three masks, the one I have plus two others. SOS Hydra Refreshing Hydration Mask and SOS Comfort Nourishing Balm Mask.

The new Clarins SOS Pure Rebalancing Clay Mask is designed to combat unbalanced skin for those of us who have combination to oily skin. With an absorbent and non-drying texture, the mask works to purify and restore super soft skin thanks to it’s combination of plant ingredients.

Clarins SOS Pure Rebalancing Clay Mask

The organic alpine willow herb extract works to limit shin and promote a matte skin. Which is perfect for summer! While a combination of white and green clay helps to absorb impurities, smooth skin texture and boost radiance. Hallelujah!

As with most masks, I only tend to use them once to twice a week, depending on how my skin is looking and feeling. But I’ve been using this one twice a week for the past few weeks now and it’s definitely improved the appearance of my skin! Unlike other clay masks I’ve used, this one does not dry your skin out. In fact it leaves it surprising nourished and moisture. It also feels a little different to others I’ve tried thanks to the powdery cream texture. And if that isn’t enough, it also have a gorgeous fresh scent to it.

Clarins SOS Pure Rebalancing Clay Mask

You can get the Clarins SOS Pure Rebalancing Clay Mask for £30 from John Lewis.

What do you think of this mask? What’s your favourite mask to use?

Sounds like a great mask! We need some more little vitamin D but the weather has been so rubbish that we’ve see no sunshine recently. We need a pick me up too!

Oooh this sounds LUSH… I don’t generally use face masks but after having a baby my skin could do with some pampering for sure!

I may have to try this one out. I’ve heard that Clarins are quite good with sensitive skin. The ones that I have tried recently have really irritated my skin.

I have to admit I’ve not heard of this particular mask before, but I am all for trying new clay masks as they seem to work well on my skin so I’ll have to look out for this one!

Which other clay masks have you used that had a drying effect? I usually go straight for clay masks and find them pretty moisturising. Would love to know which ones to avoid.

I am finding my skin rather odd at the moment, and certainly in need of pick me ups. I have some blue gunk I use that I get from Lush when I can, but because it’s fresh, I don’t have it all the time. Like the sound of this one from Clarins, their products always seem to work so well.

I haven’t used face masks in about 20 years. But I love clarins products, so I will give this a try.
