I've launched my own business

So if you thought I’ve been a little quiet over here, that’s because I have. I’ve made the biggest and craziest decision of my life and that’s to launch a business. IN THE MIDDLE OF A GLOBAL PANDEMIC. But if you know me, then you probably appreciate that this is something I would totally do. But in all honesty, it’s something that I’ve kinda fallen into.

Let me explain, a couple of months back I met up with a friend to do a photoshoot. You may notice all the nice new imagery on the site… While we were taking pictures she was telling me about her blog. And how she was looking to do a redesign but didn’t know where to begin with the technical side of things.

Now as someone who has been working in marketing and specifically digital marketing for 11 years. Plus I’ve been blogging for the past eight. If you want to know the answer to a technical question about how to set up an email marketing workflow, or how to do keyword research or what exactly is Pinterest. Then I’m your girl. And unfortunately for my friend, I wouldn’t shut up about it all. And continued to spend hours after the shoot explaining the ins and outs of the technical parts.

Which made me realise a couple of things…

Firstly, the technical side is not the easiest thing to get your head around. Yes, you can read tutorials online. Or watch YouTube videos. But sometimes nothing can beat having someone explain in language you understand exactly how to do something.

Secondly, I really enjoyed sharing my knowledge with her. It made me realise that I don’t talk about my current job with half as much enthusiasm as I do when explaining to bloggers or business owners how to do optimise their web pages, or how tailwind works.

And finally, I’m really good at it! Now I’m not one to blow my own trumpet. But I know my shizz when it comes to the digital marketing and technical side of owning a blog or website. It has literally been my job for the past 11 years to work with brands to build their audiences and deliver a digital marketing strategy that works.

So that’s what I’m doing. I’ve launched my own coaching business to give bloggers and small business owners the tools and knowledge to nail their niches, grow their platforms and profit from their passions.

So if If you’re not sure about SEO. Clueless about Google Analytics. Don’t know where to begin with email marketing. And just can’t get your head around Pinterest? Then I can help! Right now that help will be in the form of either coaching. Or you can access my FREE resource library which gives you access to blogging and social media tools, resources and much more!

So please go and check out the new site, Let me know what you think in the comments below and don’t worry. This blog and this content won’t change, I’ll be running both sites.
