Now I don’t know about you, but I really can’t resist a Black Friday bargain. And the beauty of Black Friday is that it seems to last far longer than just one day here in the UK. We have a whole week – Cyber Week. Where there are so many deals it’s really hard to keep track of them all. But one of the deals I couldn’t just walk by was the Aspinal of London sale. Now they had some incredible discounts going right up to 50%! And seeing as I’m a big fan of their classic shape bags, specially their Mayfair bags (the two I own are in Pink and Yellow). But also their trunk style bag. Which I’m incredibly excited to share that I’m now the proud owner of this iconic Aspinal of London Trunk Bag.
I get that for some people, this might be a love it or hate it bag. And I’m OK with that. I personally love the structure that this and my other Aspinal of London bags have. I think the structure adds to the classic and timeless feel that this bag has. I’m also a big fan of the studs, the lions head and the fact that the bag mixes velvet and leather. Like my other Aspinal bags, this one has a chain strap which can be removed completely so you’re left with just a clutch.
While my other Aspinal of London bags can be used everyday, this feels to me more like an evening style bag. Which seeing as Christmas party season is just around the corner, I can’t wait to use this bag over the festive period. Now it is a small bag. But you can definitely fit your keys, phone, lipstick and purse in there. Which let’s be honest, what else do you need for a night out?
Now this Aspinal of London Trunk Bag is usually £595, but for Cyber Weekend it was an amazing £476. And don’t forget to use a cashback site. I got £40 cashback on this bag, using Top Cashback, so really it was only £436. What a bargain!
