Now I don’t know about you, but shopping pre-loved is having a real moment, at the moment. Maybe it’s just because that’s all that fills my Instagram feed right now. But there are so many amazing consignment accounts and second-hand sellers offering the most amazing pieces of luxury, at much more affordable prices. And I’m very excited to say that I’ve recently dipped my toe into the pre-loved pool by picking up this beautiful Givenchy Small Antigona bag in grey from Blaise Ruby Loves. And I’m in love.

I’ve always dreamt of having an Antigonabag. Ever since they launched back in 2010, it’s been on my wishlist. I love the structure of the bag. I love how you can wear it on the shoulder, or in the nook of your arm. The shape is perfect. I just love everything about it. Apart from the current £1,500 price tag. Now I’m all for spending what some might consider to be ridiculous amounts on handbags. But £1,500 just felt a little steep for me. Especially, when it’s not coming with a Dior or Chanel logo on (and yes I’m aware that £1,500 really doesn’t buy you a lot in either shop!).

So when I saw Blaise Ruby Loves offering up this beauty for almost 50% off the RRP of a brand new Small Antigona in my perfect colour. I really couldn’t say no. And I’m so happy I didn’t! I love everything about this bag. I’d heard from others that it’s a heavy bag before you put anything in. But having used it a couple of times already, I didn’t find it that heavy. I will agree that finding something can be a little challenging as the opening doesn’t open that wide. But it doesn’t put me off the bag. And for me, the small is the perfect size. The micro is very small – you might be able to fit an iPad mini in there, but not much else.

The small is big enough for a water bottle, purse, iPad pro, and more. While the medium is a lot bigger. Which although it would be hand to fit a laptop in. I just personally don’t love the proportion sizing on the medium. Much like Goldilocks, for me, the Givenchy Small Antigona is just right.
What do you think of the Givenchy Small Antigona? Do you have this bag in your collection? Have you ever shopped pre-loved before?
