Now I don’t know about you, but when it comes to packing my makeup bag for a holiday or vacation, I’m all about trying to streamline what I bring, so I only bring the products that I know I’ll love and use. This week I am travelling aboard for my first holiday of the year to sunny Portugal and here is what is in my holiday makeup bag.
Now the first thing I should point out, is that this is a pretty big holiday makeup bag! This is the Louis Vuitton Nice BB and I use it to carry all my makeup, skincare and some haircare products when I’m travelling. I’ll do a full review on this soon, I just wanted to point out that I know it’s a large makeup bag to take on your holidays. So let’s start with what is actually inside.
Base products
For my face I like to keep it light on holiday. I usually find it too hot to wear a foundation, so I tend to bring with me, my trusty Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter, my favourite Too Faced Born This Way Concealer and the Beauty Pie Sheer Tinted Oil-Free SPF 20. Not only are all three products light weight. But I also find the Beauty Pie Sheer Tint just gives me a great glow without being too heavy. To set all my makeup, I use my absolute ride or die powder which is the Laura Mercier loose powder. It’s light, silky and gives an even coverage without caking.
Blush, Bronzer, Highlighter
For blush, bronzer and highlighter I opted for some of my OG products. For blush and bronzer I went for this mini duo of Nars Orgasm Blush and Nars Laguna Bronzer. I can’t remember where I got this duo from. But it’s the perfect size for travelling. For highlighter I went for my much loved Beauty Pie Shimmer Bar.
Eyes & Brows
And finally for eyes, I opted for one of my classic eye combos which is a bronze metallic eye cream. I use Chanel Cream Eye Shadow in Mirage. To top it off I went for my bougie Dolce & Gabbana kohl eye pencil. And then my trusty mascara combo of the Beauty Pie Uber Volume Lash Primer and Lancôme Hypnose Mascara. And finally for brows it has to be the Charlotte Tilbury Legendary Brows in their black/brown shade.
