Now I don’t know about you, but I think we all know that my hobbies include spending money on myself and shopping. And that’s true. It’s one of my favourite things to do, but just know that I’m a sucker for a deal. And one of the best deals for me are loyalty programmes. Because if you’re going to spend your money, then you might as well get something in return. So here are my favourite loyalty programmes and how to make loyalty programmes work for you.
TESCO CLUBCARD
Now this is one of the OG loyalty programmes but it’s a good one. If you don’t know how it works you collect 1 point for every £1 you spend either in store or online. And for fuel, it’s 1 point for every £2 you spend. Now collecting points is pretty easy. And as we all know, points mean prizes. Or in Tesco’s case, vouchers. And one of my favourite ways to spend my Tesco points is to turn them into hotel.com vouchers. That’s because for every £5 Tesco voucher you can get a £15 Hotels.com voucher! I recently saved up all my vouchers to get a huge £90 hotels.com voucher to spend on a cheeky weekend staycation in a brand new five star luxury London hotel! All for just doing my weekly shop at Tesco.
SPACE NK INDULGE CARD
Now if you’re a regular reader of this blog then you know that I am a self confessed beauty addict. So it’s a no brainer for me to have a Space NK loyalty card. And what I love about this one, are the perks that come with it. Not only do you get a gift on your birthday. But you also get early access to sales. Like Tesco, you collect 1 point for every £1 spent. And at 100 points you get a £5 voucher to put towards your next splurge. In the past I’ve saved up my vouchers to use on one of their beauty boxes. It’s always worth a splurge!
BOOTS ADVANTAGE CARD
This is another OG when it comes to loyalty programmes, but like the Tesco and Space NK one. It’s an oldie but a goodie. Unlike the Tesco or Space NK programmes, on the Boots one, you get 4 points for every £1 spent. And if you have the Boots app, you can get personalised offers to boost the amount of points earned. I tend to buy all my everyday essentials from here. So toothpaste, deodorant, high street skincare, perfume etc. And then treat myself to something extravagant with my points once I’ve racked up enough.
So these have been my favourite loyalty programmes as well as my tips on how to make loyalty programmes work for you. What are your favourite loyalty programmes to use?
