Now I’m sure this won’t come as a surprise to know that while I was living my best life in Las Vegas. I also indulged in a little bit of shopping. I mean how could I resist? Las Vegas is a shopping mecca! And while there was an abundance of high end luxury shops to shop in. I tried to stick to those American brands that are just hard to get here in the UK. So here is everything I brought in Las Vegas.
The first place I went to was the North Premium Outlets in Las Vegas. These are a taxi drive away as they’re about 4 miles north of the strip. But it’s well worth a trip. There was a good mix of high end and high street here and it was a great place to spend half a day browsing the shops.
They also had some great discounts on that day. I went the day after Labor Day in the US so I’m not sure if they always have additional discounts or whether this was because of the Bank Holiday but most shops offered as additional 15% for sharing my email address.

So the first place I went to was Calvin Klein. Now I’m not usually a Calvin Klein shopper but I wanted to see what they had and I ended up picking up the softest underwear I’ve ever felt. Honestly, the underwear is so soft and comfy! I picked up four of these. Originally they were $15 each, but if you brought 4 they went down to $11 each and then I had a 15% discount so the total was $40.52 including tax.

Next I headed over to Saks Fifth Avenue. I wasn’t sure what to expect in this store as we obviously don’t have one at home. There was a lot of high end items here, like Gucci Shoes. I managed to resist the temptation and instead picked up two headbands for £20 each. A bottle of Living Proof Root Spray for $20 and some socks for $10. Bringing my grand total including tax to $73.64.

The final place I hit at the Premium Outlets was J Crew. Now I’m not sure if there is still a J Crew in the UK. But there used to be one in London and it was expensive! So I was very happy to see that they had pretty much 50% off in the store and 15% off if you gave them your email address. Especially as I spied this beautiful midi dress which I’m obsessed with!. I love the print. I love the cut. And I love the length. I also picked up these beautiful earrings. Again with 50% off. Which meant my grand total including tax was $75.76.

And then the final place I went shopping was Sephora. Because it’s pretty much the law that I have to shop in a Sephora. Now I did a bit of damage here. But I couldn’t help myself. I got colour matched for a new foundation and decided to go for the Too Faced Born This Way foundation. I then needed a new foundation brush obviously, which I picked up from the Sephora own brand selection. Next it was time to visit the minis and pick up two mini products – the Colour Wow dream coat. And Urban Decay All Nighter setting spray. That came to a total of $110.54. And then because I spent so much, I also got to pick a free gift – the mini Nars lip balm. And my birthday gift of a Laure Mercier mini set.
Now some would say this haul is over the top. Others might say I was well restrained. All I’ll say is that I’m happy with everything I brought in Las Vegas. Let me know what your favourite item is in the comments.
