Nivea Sensitive 3-in-1 Micellar Cleansing Water

Micellar Cleansing Waters are definitely having a moment. Before I started reading beauty blogs, and starting my own, I used to use, *gasp*, face wipes on my skin. I know they’re bad for your skin but at the time I didn’t know any different. Plus they’re cheap and so easy to use. Nowadays though I have a full on morning and evening skincare routine. Of which Micellar cleansing waters are a firm favourite.

I’ve tried many of the ones on the market, from the much loved and hyped about Bioderma to the more affordable L’Oreal and Garnier versions. But the latest edition on my dressing table is the Nivea Sensitive 3-in-1 Micellar Cleansing Water.

This is such an effective cleansing water that works by dissolving the makeup off your face, making it easier to remove. This is always the first step in my skincare routine as it removes every trace of makeup without too much effort. As the formula is sensitive it’s kind to your skin. Although I wouldn’t describe my skin as sensitive, the area around my eyes can be sensitive at times, but this is just so lovely and gentle to use. Plus it actually removes most of my makeup. Even my very stubborn mascaras.

The Nivea Sensitive 3-in-1 Micellar Cleansing Water is currently on offer in Boots for £1.84 (regular price is £3.69).

Do you use Micellar Cleansing Waters? Have you tried this before?

Gosh! I’m worried now – What’s the problem with face wipes? I don’t use them all the time, but I do sometimes buy them because they are so quick and easy to use. Please tell me they are not like sand paper for skin.

Face wipes just aren’t great for the skin, they’re not like sand paper they’re just not as gentle as the advertisement would lead you to believe x

I tend to use face wipes but have recently been thinking of changing, i only use them because they are quick and easy, i really should make time and look into a better routine.

Face wipes are quick and easy but using a cleansing water is just as easy x
