Three to try from CeraVe

Now I don’t know about you, but my skin is having a bit of a meltdown at the moment. I’m not sure if it’s the lack of fresh hair, the mask-wearing (I’m not complaining), or hormones (which I will always complain about). But whatever it is, my skin is in need of some TLC. This is why I couldn’t resist the recent Boots 3 for 2 offer on CeraVe products. Now if you’re new to the brand of not sure who they are, they’re a skincare brand developed with dermatologists to help repair and strengthen the skin’s natural barrier. So if you’re interested in trying the brand, or just want to see what I got, here are three to try from CeraVe.

CERAVE SMOOTHING CLEANSER WITH SALICYLIC ACID £12

Now first up is this cleanser. Which has become a little bit of a cult classic thanks to the results this gives your skin. It’s been developed with dermatologists to really exfoliate the skin while still being kind to your skin. I love the fact that this gel formula really works to exfoliate my skin to smooth any dry, rough, or bumpy parts of my complexion. While still leaving it moisturised and hydrated.

As someone with combination skin, large than average (in my opinion) pores and small under-skin spots on my forehead. This cleanser was a bit of a game changer for me. The bumpy spots on the forehead have disappeared. And my pores have reduced in size over the past month of using it. I’m hooked. For £12 this is incredibly affordable.

CERAVE SA SMOOTHING CREAM WITH SALICYLIC ACID £12

Now I picked this cream up for one very specific reason. And that is that I suffer from keratosis pilaris on my arms and legs. Now if you’re not sure what this. You can Google it. But it’s essentially, where small bumps appear on your skin. It’s often referred to as chicken skin or strawberry skin due to its appearance. But I’ve had it for as long as I can remember. And I’m just fed up with having it!

So I did some Googling and found that this product is meant to help as the salicylic acid works to exfoliate and smooth any dry, rough or bumpy skin. While the hyaluronic acid and UREA help to retain your skin’s natural moisture.

And do you know what? After using it for just a month, the spots on the top of my arms have almost disappeared. I’m shocked. And also annoyed at myself that I didn’t try and get rid of it sooner.

CERAVE REPARATIVE EYE CREAM £12

And then the final item is one I picked up because it was 3 for 2 with Boots, and that was this eye cream. Mainly picked because of the promise of a reduction in the appearance of dark circles. Along with the thousands of five-star reviews. And I can see why.

Formulated to protect the skin barrier with three essential ceramides, and hyaluronic acid to retain the skin’s natural moisture. This eye cream is great for reducing the look of dark circles and puffiness for brighter, healthier looking eyes.

As someone who is getting more sleep than she’s ever had. This is the one thing right now that I think is helping me reduce the appearance of my dark circles.
