Before I started beauty blogging I never thought much of French skincare brands. I know it’s hard to believe but there was a time where my skincare routine just featured one or two trusted products that I’d used since my teen years. But my oh my how that has changed since I entered the world of beauty blogger. Regular readers of this blog will know how much I love trying new skincare, which is why I wanted to share with you all two new additions to my skincare routine from French cult favourites Bioderma and La Roche-Posay.
La Roche-Posay Hydraphase Intense Serum £16.90
One thing I haven’t changed in my skincare routine for a while is the serum that I use. But I’m finding that my skin is a little drier than usual at the moment which is why I’ve been using this beauty from La Roche-Posay. Their Hydraphase Intense Serum is ideal for those of you, who like me, have dehydrated and sensitive skin. I’ve used La Roche-Posay products before and I have no idea what’s in them, but they seem to make my skin look hydrated, refreshed and just generally well nourished – which is what I want! And this serum is no different. It’s enriched with a highly concentrated blend of La Roche-Posay’s Thermal Spring Water, which is known for its soothing and anti-irritating properties, and hyaluronic acid fragments to infuse the skin with deep hydration.
I find the gel texture absorbs quickly into my skin without leaving it feeling greasy. And having it used it every morning and evening I can confirm my skin has felt more hydrated and well nourished.
Bioderma Sensibio H2O Micelle Solution Make-Up Removing Wipes £7
Back before I started beauty blogging I used to use face wipes all the time. And then I stopped. I have to admit I’ve not used a face wipe in a about three years now but what I like about these Bioderma wipes is that they’re infused with micellar solution to cleanse your skin while removing the day’s dirt and makeup. I also love that they’re so convenient to use. When I’m in a rush I can just grab a wipe and know that I’m cleansing as well as removing my makeup before moving on to applying my moisturiser.
Both products are available on Escentual.
What new additions have you added to your skincare routine?

I’ve been using the garnier moisture nourish which is for extra dry to dry skin and it is amazing. I haven’t managed to find anythign that I love more at the moment and it’s under £4! x
I am still unsure about face wipes, ive never really been a fan of them at all and havent used them for years x
Ohhh some great little additions!!! I love these pictures too!! I have recently introduced a cleansing balm to my routine.. and even though I have oily skin it is an absolutely amazing product and makes my skin feel so clean!!
