Battersea Crowne Plaza Spa Review

Battersea Crowne Plaza Spa Review

As you may already know – I love a spa day. For me it’s the best way to unwind and relax. And last week I was lucky enough to be invited down to the Crowne Plaza in Battersea to try out their spa and receive a facial. And I have to say it was probably the most relaxing Bank Holiday Monday I’ve had in a long time.

The awarding winning spa in the hotel – Verta Spa – is located in the basement of the Crowne Plaza. Like most city spa’s it’s not the biggest of spas but it does feel incredibly luxurious. Inside the Spa itself you have two heated sun loungers, a sanarium, sauna, steam room, foot spa experience, pool and a Jacuzzi – pretty much everything you would expect from a spa. And the perfect way to spend a few hours when you need to unwind and relax.

As well as the spa there is also a gym. But I have to say in all the spas I’ve visited I’ve never gone in the gym – but for those interested there is a gym if you fancy working out rather than relaxing!

After spending a good hour relaxing in the spa I then went into the relaxation room while I waited for my facial. The room is made up of five loungers and chairs where you can just sit, relax and read a magazine while you sip cucumber water before having your treatment.

I had a facial but there are a range of treatments available. The facial though was one of the best I’d had. It was relaxing, the therapist picked products that were going to target specific skins concerns that I shared with her and she gave me the most amazing head massage while she was waiting for the face mask to dry.

All in all this spa experience was everything I wanted from it and more. I loved the spa experiences and the facial and I came out there relaxed but also energised to face the week ahead.

You can book your own spa day here via the Spa Seeker’s website.

Looks incredible! I really do need a little spa break myself, if only for a day.
