Protecting my skin with the Elizabeth Arden Prevage City Smart

Elizabeth Arden Prevage City Smart

So I think we all know that we should be protecting our skin from the sun right? And that’s easy enough to do by wearing a daily SPF. But what about protecting our skin from pollution? Now I have to admit, that until recently I hadn’t thought about this. I don’t live in a major city, but I do visit London a few times a week. And it’s easy to notice a difference in my skin once I’ve been in town all day. My complexion appears drier, pores appear larger and just generally my skin feels like it’s in need of a good clean.

Now clearly I’m not the only the one whose skin can feel like this when they’re in a big city. As ever since the Elizabeth Arden Prevage City Smart launched last year. It’s become a cult favourite and an award winning beauty product. Now you may be wondering what is so special about this skincare product. It’s an everyday, all year-round shield that can protect your skin from the pollutants that can age your skin. In fact, this shield can actually catch the pollution particles to stop them penetrating your pores. And then when you wash your face at night, you wash away the pollution too. Impressive right?

Well I’m impressed. And definitely hooked on this. So much so that I wish I discovered it back when it launched. Not only does it protect your skin about pollution with it’s anti-pollution shield technology. But it also defends against UVA and UVB rays with it’s SPF 50. And it strengthens the skin’s natural defences with it’s DNA Enzyme Complex. And if that isn’t enough.

To use this, you just apply it as the last step in your morning skincare routine. It is slightly tinted, which is a bonus for me, as it offers very light coverage. That is subtle enough to even out my skin tone and any redness before applying my makeup. And the texture is incredibly light which means it melts into the skin quickly.

What do you think about the Elizabeth Arden Prevage City Smart? Have you tried it before? Is it a product you’d use in your skincare routine?

I’ve never heard of this Elizabeth Arden product, but if it’s anything like their 8-hour cream, I know it’ll be good 🙂 x

See I do live in London so it is a little worrying how much pollution might affect my skin. I like the sound of this city smart complex .

I haven’t tried it yet but it sounds like great stuff, and it being SPF 50 too is great – I burn easily!

It’s so important to looo after your skin isn’t it. It’s even more important to me since turning 30.

I love the green tea perfume by Elizabeth Arden and I am yet to try other products. This seems good so I think I’ll give it a try.

Sounds great and really good for your skin! Very expensive for my liking though at £55, Wish I could spend that on something as good as this.
