When it comes to skincare, I think it’s fair to say that I will try most things for smoother, healthier looking skin. I’ve tried numerous potions, lotions and even a laser treatment in my quest for better looking skin. But one of the things I’d yet to try, was a peel. Well that was until a few weeks ago when I had the opportunity to try the Philosophy Microdelivery Resurfacing Peel kit. Which if you don’t know already. Is a peel treatment that you can do at home.
Now I have to say I am a big fan of Philosophy and their products. Their mission is to bridge the gap between what is offered by skincare professionals, and what is offered in store. Allowing women everywhere to access the best skincare technology available. And I love that about them. And this microdelivery resurfacing peel kit is certainly impressive. The kit is a two-step, in-home peel that resurfaces and rejuvenates sun-damaged, hyperpigmentated and ageing skin.

It’s a two-step process. Step 1 features vitamin c/peptide crystals, while step 2 features a lactic/salicylic acid activating gel. And I have to say, this is so simple and easy to use. You just apply a teaspoon amount of step 1 and gently massage for 60 seconds onto your skin avoiding the eye area. It’s important not to scrub at this point. And then for step two, place a teaspoon amount onto of the crystals. You’ll feel a warming sensation and white foam will appear. You just leave the foam on for 2-3 minutes and if you want the extra exfoliating benefits you can massage it into the skin. Or you can leave it before rinsing.

I have to say this is definitely a really effective at home peel treatment. t’s easy to use, and the fact you only need a small amount of each product means it’ll last for a while. I’ve used this once so far and would probably just use it again when I felt like my skin needed a bit of TLC. But I have to say that you do see the results instantly. The products are full of vitamin C, which definitely helps to brighten and rejuvenate my skin.
You can get the Philosophy Microdelivery Resurfacing Peel here for £59.50.
What do you think of this at home peel treatment? Is it something you’d use?

You know, I might even have to try this myself… The skin on my face has really taken a beating through the past few years…
I’ve heard that this works wonders. I’d love to try it myself.
Ohh now I might have to treat myself to this it sounds really good and I could definitely do with a peel I am sure.
I have never tried a at home treatment peel but my skin could definitely use some TLC. It is quite expensive but if it is good then I don’t mind x
Oh I’ve never tried anything like that out before, maybe I should though. Thanks for introducing me to it x
I’d definitely give an at-home peel a try. I like that this one is simple and easy to use 🙂
This sounds like a product my skin would love! It is feeling a little deprived at the moment and as I have never tried a peel before, it might be a good time to do it x
I always thought of peels as something that was done at a spa. This one I’m going to have to try because I’ve always been curious about their effects. I also like that a little will go a long way!
Never tried a peel at home but hey, might treat myself and give this a go 🙂
I am going to have to treat myself to some of this, as my skin is so damaged.
