A dreamy Nars duo

Dreamy Nars Duo

Dreamy Nars Duo

As you may have seen from my high end makeup haul, I went a little crazy in John Lewis and ended up picking up a few makeup bits that I’ve been lusting over for a while now. And two of the first products I picked up was this dreamy Nars duo – the Sheer Glow foundation and the radiant creamy concealer.

Having heard so much about this foundation and the concealer, I knew I wanted to give it a go myself. Now regular readers of this blog will know I’m not a fan of a heavy coverage foundation. I much prefer something litter on my skin and this is just lovely. Although you might think this would provide a ‘sheer glow’ finish, it actually has more of a medium coverage that leaves your skin looking flawless and glowing. It’s easy to apply and lasts all day, despite my oily skin. The only slight downside is the lack of a pump. I actually picked up the pump to go with this and wish I hadn’t. When the pump is attached, the lid doesn’t fit. Which isn’t ideal for travelling. Although you can lock the pump to prevent any unwanted spillages.

Next up is the radiant creamy concealer. Now I’ve tried a LOT of concealers over the years as I suffer with dark circles. And it doesn’t seem to matter how much sleep I get each night, it never seems to be enough to shift the dark bags under my eyes. But this concealer is pretty amazing. It hides my imperfections, stays in place all day and highlights as well. Although the formula is thick, it blends very quickly and easily in the under eye skin. It’s my new favourite concealer and one that will not be moving from my makeup bag for a long while.

Have you tried this dreamy Nars duo before? What’s your favourite foundation or concealer?

They both sound like a dream. I really want to try both of these and reading this has only made me want to try them more! Although I do wish the Nars foundation came with a pump!

This sounds like a duo make for each other in heaven! I want to try both but it never occurred to me that they might work great in conjunction with each other. They look absolutely flawless on you! I am currently wanting to try them both out even more! xx

For months now I’ve had my eye on the radiant creamy concealer, but have never really been able to justify the price. My sister had it and it got stolen, but I got the chance to try it beforehand and it really is incredible. This seems to be the perfect duo and your skin looks amazing!

They both sound like amazing products – two I’ve wanted to try for the longest time, I suffer with such dark circles so the concealer seems like something to maybe invest in soon!
