A not so mini Charlotte Tilbury haul

Now I don’t know about you, but sometimes I get the just blow all my money on makeup. Yes I am incredibly lucky to be sent lovely makeup PR packages. And it’s not like I’m not grateful for them. But sometimes you just want to splurge on things that you just really want. And that happened just after Christmas when I went a little nuts at the Charlotte Tilbury counter in John Lewis. So if you want to see what I got, here’s my maybe not so mini Charlotte Tilbury haul:

CHARLOTTE TILBURY MAGIC FOUNDATION

Now I know I’m really late to the party, but up until recently I’d never tried the Magic Foundation before. But I have to say I really like it. Yes it is full coverage, which isn’t what I normally opt for. But it’s great if you want to cover any acne, scarring, redness or discolouration. Plus, as it is a heavier foundation, it can also work to smooth out any wrinkles and wake up tired looking skin – which is just what I need right now. The foundation is available here.

CHARLOTTE TILBURY MAGIC AWAY CONCEALER

So to go with the Magic Foundation, I also picked up the Magic Away Concealer. And just like the foundation, this concealer has a full-coverage formula that covers dark circles, corrects uneven skin tone and gives a long-lasting effect. Plus, the magic prevision sponge is incredibly easy to use. It’s available here.

CHARLOTTE TILBURY HOLLYWOOD FLAWLESS FILTER 

Now this product has pretty much been love at first use. Maybe it’s because it’s a foundation, complexion enhancer, illuminating primer and low-key highlighter all in one. Or maybe it’s because nothing makes my skin glow more than this. But I’m so pleased to finally have this in my makeup bag. It’s available here.

CHARLOTTLE TILBURY AIR BRUSH FLAWLESS FINISH POWDER

Now as someone with rather oily skin – especially across the T-Zone. A powder is a must for me. And having treated myself to the Flawless Filter, the Magic Foundation and Magic Away Concealer, it would be rude to not complete the whole set and throw in a powder too, right? Well that was my thinking and I’m so glad I got the powder. It’s a lot lighter than other powders I’ve used in the past, and it definitely blurs away any lines and imperfections as well as keeping my skin oil free. It’s available here.

CHARLOTTE TILBURY COLOUR CHAMELEON EYESHADOW PENCIL 

Now I do have a couple of these already, and did review them before. But I’ve recently fallen back in love with them. Which is why I wanted to add another colour to the collection – Golden Quartz. Which is perfect for those of us with Hazel Eyes. And so easy to wear. I literally just sweep the pencil across both lids and blend every morning – it’s that simple and easy to use! CHARLOTTE TILBURY FULL FAT LASHES MASCARA

And to complete the look, and the haul, I couldn’t resist trying the mascara. Now I’ve tried the Legendary Lashes one and loved it. But I wanted to try her other one to compare. And no surprises but I love this one too. It’s a 5-in-1 mascara which curls and separates your lashes, while also giving them volume, length and drama. And it’s available here.
