Collection Lasting Perfection concealer

Collection Lasting Perfection concealer

For me concealer is one of those products that I just couldn’t live without. Even if I’m having a no makeup day, I still wear concealer to cover the dark circles and pesky blemishes. Having heard a lot of hype surrounding the Collection Lasting Perfection concealer, I couldn’t wait to try it when I spotted it in my local Boots a few weeks ago.

I was a bit sceptical about whether this product would work for me as my dark circles are pretty stubborn to cover up but I have to say this concealer does indeed live up to the hype. The creamy texture is very easy to apply and covers my dark circles in one easy swipe of the doe foot applicator. I tend to use my Real Techniques miracle complexion sponge to blend in the concealer before using a powder to set it in place. Using this application method ensures the concealer stays in place all day. There is a little wear and creasing from the concealer, which I always think is to be expected, so if you want a flawless look all day then I would recommend popping this into your bag for touch ups.

There are four shades to choose from when it comes to the concealer – Fair, cool medium, warm medium and dark. Not the biggest colour range, but enough to ensure that most people will find a shade to suit them. I’ve been using warm medium which works well with my skin tone.

Having used this concealer every day for the past few weeks I’ve already been on the hunt to pick up a spare one for when this one runs out.

The Collection Lasting Perfection concealer is available for £4.19 from Boots.

Have you tried this concealer? What’s your favourite concealer to use?

I always hear such good things about this concealer but haven’t tried it, it’s such a bargain and I have awful dark circles so I’ll have to remember to pick it up when I’m next in Boots 🙂

I constantly see this raved about also but am yet to try it. I am enjoying my Nars creamy concealer that I splurged on last month. I have heard this is meant to be a good dupe for the Nars though so I may have to give it a go when I am running low

I like the Collection concealer but I don’t love it. I find it a little too drying for my older eyes and their fine lines. My fave concealer is Maybelline Fit Me one.

I’ve recently bought this concealer too in the lightest shade. Unfortunately it’s just a little bit too dark for my skin tone. In summer its fine as I tend to tan up a bit but normally I have very pale skin. This being said the coverage is the best I’ve ever seen for blemishes. I can see why it’s so popular, just wish they had more shades. Fab post and thanks for sharing!!
